Labyrinth Walk

Well here is, "Labyrinth Walk"!

This quilt was inspired by a gorgeous floor we discovered in Naples, Italy
I had the honor of Quilt Magazine publishing my pattern back in April/May issue of 2012.
Now that Labyrinth Walk has been released for several months, I have been blessed by how many people have created it.  It's very humbling.

My goal this week is to add a link.....with the complete story of our discoveries of the culture, food and art in Italy that inspired us to create this work of art.

  5. Hi, I had only started quilting last year about the time "Quilt Magazine" May/April 2012 came out. My daughter saw the "Labyrinth Walk" and ask me to make it for her. I have just completed this wonderful quilt! Everyone in my quild told me not to give it to my daughter until I enter this Awesome quilt in some shows.
I am asking for your permission to enter my completed quilt of your design in the NQA Quilt Show? Please email me at deea14325@yahoo.com Thank you Dee

  12. My son saw this quilt and thought it was GREAT! So, I'm attempting to make it for him for graduation (I've given myself enough time :) ) BUT my question is... I'm making it for a Twin bed. 84 x 84 is much to big for that (width wise). I'm attempting to 1/2 size it but in working through the pattern the 'white maze' pieces are just getting to narrow and do not look good. Have you done this quilt in another size and/or have you ever paper pieced it? I'm attempting to make a paper piecing pattern from your pattern (is that legal??) so I can get the 1/8" pieces exact. Any helpful tips, hints, different pattern?????

    Thanks!

    1. I believe I may have contact you by email in regards to your question? Generally the width of quilting fabrics run 43" to 44" wide selvage to selvage.
Did you prewash the fabric? Because I never do that unless I'm creating a scrape quilt. Scrape quilts can be several different combination of fabrics from different mills.

  61. I recently purchased this pattern and proceeded to cut all of the fabric according to the directions.
However when I started to assemble the quilt it didn't fit together. I finally figured out that the white batik strips that were cut 1 1\4 inch wide (according to the pattern) were incorrect and needed to be 1 1\2 inches. Was very disappointed in this pattern.
I can send you a snapshot and show you the incorrectness.
